Local History Research: A Series of 'How to . .' Workshops

Ten workshops will be held at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre, Chippenham fortnightly, 9.30–13.00, beginning Monday 7 October 2024, and continuing until 10 March 2025.

Each workshop will be divided into two sessions with a refreshment break. Historians from the Victoria County History and University of the West of England will lead tutoring and discussion in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Topics covered will include the historian's craft, the history of the landscape, the history of buildings, working with documents, and much more.
